Raymond E. Duff, 63 years of age of St. Jacob, Illinois, born December 24, 1942 in Litchfield, Illinois, died April 20, 2006 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Illinois.
Mr. Duff has lived in Troy, Illinois for over 25 years. He retired as a Computer Programmer for Nevco Scoreboard Co. in Greenville, Illinois. Mr. Duff served in the Vietnam War while he was in the Army. Mr. Duff enjoyed golfing, gardening, traveling and most of all his family. Mr. Duff was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Troy, Illinois.
Mr. Duff is preceded in death by his parents, Vernon and Leona (nee: Orten) Duff.
Mr. Duff is survived by his wife Joyce (nee: Noeth) Duff, of St. Jacob, Illinois, whom he married on June 5, 1971, one son Michael (Dana) Duff of Fairview Heights, Illinois, one daughter Mrs. Angela (Kevin) Spann of Springfield, Illinois, one brother Merle (Mary) Duff of Paxton, Illinois, one sister Mrs. Lillian (Charles) Dailey of Bloomington, Illinois, and two grandchildren Brandi and Emily Spann.
VISITATION HOURS: Friends may call at the Laughlin Funeral Home after 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, April 23, 2006.
FUNERAL SERVICE: Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday, April 24, 2006 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Troy, Illinois with Reverend Father Steven Janoski officiating.
INTERMENT: will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Black Jack, Illinois.
