Randy W. Moravec, 67, of Alton, IL, born Tuesday, February 21, 1956 in Highland, Il and passed away on March 21, 2023 at his home in Alton, IL.

Randy attended the Methodist Church. He served his Country in the United States Army.  He was a graduate of Triad Class of 1975.  Randy enjoyed fishing, art/painting, working with his hands and the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph "Rudy" J. Moravec Sr. and Verla Mae (nee Harris) Moravec; and his sister, Helen Tatman.

Surviving are his special loving friend, Margaret Covington of Alton, IL; a daughter, April (Timothy) Wells of Marine, IL; four grandchildren; one great-grandchild; his brothers, Richard (Mona) Moravec of Troy, IL, Rudolph (Diane) Moravec Jr. of Sturgis, SD,; sisters, Susan (Larry) Weldon of Troy, IL and Jean (Jim) Burgess of St. Jacob, IL; many nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation for Randy will be 10 to 11 am on Wednesday, March 29,2023 at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, 11 am at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL with Rev. Andy Adams officiating, Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
