Randel A. Rock, 94, of St. Jacob, IL , born Thursday, April 22, 1926 in O'Fallon, IL and passed away at his home on Sunday, August 2, 2020.

Mr. Rock served his country in the United States Navy during WW II and was a long time member of Busong-Mersinger American Legion Post 665 St. Jacob, IL .  He retired after 37 years from the Illinois Department of Transportation where he worked as an Engineer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; Arthur H. and Alberta E. (nee Widicus) Rock; his brother, Art Rock; and his sister, Genevieve Logan

Surviving are his children; Tim (Susie) Rock of Swansea, IL, Randel Rock II of St. Jacob, IL, Jeff (Kristina) Rock of Morrow, IL, Audrey (Donald) Yawn of Troy, IL, Marilyn Rock of CT and Susan (Walter) Moody of AK; and 9 grandchildren

Graveside services with full military honors will be held 11:30 am Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with Rev. Gary Kniepkamp officiating.
