Ralph E. Edwards, 69, of St. Jacob, IL, born December 9, 1948 in Doniphan, MO and passed at his home surrounded by his family on Sunday, May 6, 2018.

Ralph was employed by Granite City Steel and was also on the Fire Department at the Steel Factory. He was a member of Eagles of Collinsville and the Lions Club of St. Jacob. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, motor cycles and was a collector of many things.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Anita (nee Blackwell) Edwards; brother, Donald Edwards; sister, Carol Edwards.

Surviving are his wife, Rosanna (nee Scarbrough) Edwards; Children, Rebecca R. (Cody) Liley of Troy, IL, Lisa M. (Edward) Ellison of Belleville, IL, Valerie A. Edwards of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Kerri Schellenberg, Dalton Renfrow, Jennifer Copic, Kathryn Husain, Sarah, Brianna, Jacob and Elijah, Ellison; great-grandchildren, Joshua Shellenberg, Maryam Husain and Luka Copic; brother, Mark (Jean) Edwards of Edwardsville, IL; and sister, Michelle Kries of Belleville, IL; uncle cousin and friend to many.
