Obituary
Rachel Mansini, 89, of Troy, Ill., born March 29, 1919, in Jerseyville, Ill., died Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009, at St. Mary's Health Center, Clayton, Mo.
Mrs. Mansini was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Carlyle, Ill., and Royal Neighbors of America.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Mansini Sr.; parents, Walter A. and Minnie, nee Preston, Hutchens; a brother, Walter Hutchens; and sisters, Alma Borum and Edith Klarenbach.
Surviving are her children, John (Kim) Mansini of O'Fallon, Mo., James (Renee) Mansini of Indianola, Iowa, Mary (Larry) Stammer of New Athens, Ill., and Betty (Larry) Reynolds of Troy, Ill. 17 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Jarvis Township Senior Citizen Center, Troy, Ill.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 5, 2009, at Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6, 2009, at Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill., with Rev. Charles West officiating. Burial will be at Kane Cemetery, Kane, Ill.
