Obituary
Rachel M. Brown, 70, of Troy, Ill., born May 16, 1937, in Cunningham, Ky., died Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2008, at Memorial Hospital, Belleville, Ill.
Mrs. Brown was a laborer with Local 100.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gerald Dean Brown; and her father, Thomas U. Clark.
Surviving are her mother, Doris L., nee O'Conner, Clark of Troy, Ill.; three sisters, Martha (Wayne) Carlton of Mauriceville, Texas, Wanda (Tom) Oliver of Troy, Ill., and Patty Johnson; a brother, John (Cindy) Clark of Smithton, Ill.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to American Lung Association.
Visitation: Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2008, at Laughlin Funeral Home, Troy, Ill.
Funeral: Funeral Service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2008, at Laughlin Funeral Home, Troy, Ill., with Rev. Charles West officiating. Burial will be at Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Ill.
