Peggy Sue Penrod, 79, of Troy, IL, born Thursday,05 July 06, 1939 in Vienna, IL, passed away on Monday, May 06, 2019 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.

Peggy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She and James ran their trucking business from 1973 to 1998.

She was preceded in death by her son and his wife, Todd (Colleen) Penrod; grandchild, Austin Penrod; parents, Clyde and Beulah (nee Ditterline) Casper; sister, Bobbie Page and a brother Victor Casper.

Surviving are her husband, James Penrod whom she married September 22, 1957 in Carbondale, IL; children, Angel (Dannie) Sipes of Troy, IL, Shawna (Brent) Loper of Concord, NC and Mark (Patti) Penrod of Shiloh, IL; grandchildren, Tyler (Iryna) Penrod, Jordan (Justin) Pendergrass, Kelsey and Karoline Sipes, Nathan and Eli Loper, Jessica (Cory) Taylor and Kayla Penrod; great-grandchildren, Monroe and Andie Pendergrass and Vanessa Taylor.
