Pearl M. Peters, nee Suter, 94, of St. Jacob, Ill., born Nov. 4, 1915, in St. Jacob, Ill., died Tuesday, April 13, 2010, at Faith Countryside in Highland, Ill.
Mrs. Peters was a homemaker who had lived all of her life in St. Jacob, Ill. She was a member of St. Jacob United Church of Christ in St. Jacob, Ill. Pearl was the St. Jacob Township supervisor, sold Avon for 25 years, a member of the Home Bureau and a 50 plus member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Marine Lodge and White Shrine of Jerusalem Hannah Shrine 104.
She was preceded in death by two husbands, Lester Schoeck and Harold Peters; parents, Edward and Ida M., nee Isaac, Suter; and two brothers, Gustav and Robert Suter.
Surviving are her sister, Violet Iberg of Carlyle, Ill.; two sisters-in-law; many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Memorials may be made to Keystone Cemetery, or St. Jacob United Church of Christ.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, April 15, 2010, at Aebischer-Richeson Funeral Home in St. Jacob, Ill., and from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, April 16, 2010, at St. Jacob United Church of Christ in St. Jacob, Ill.
Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, April 16, 2010, at the church with the Rev. Gary Kniepkamp officiating. Interment will be in Keystone Cemetery, St. Jacob, Ill.
