Pauline Giamanco, nee Wodochek, 95, of Sparta, Il., formerly of O'Fallon, Il. and Caseyville, Il., born November 17, 1913 in Edgemont, Il., died Monday, December 15, 2008 in Sparta, Il.

Mrs. Giamanco was a homemaker. She was a member of Silvertones Singing Group, Caseyville Senior Citizens and St. Ann's Sodality.

Pauline was preceded in death by her husband, Sam Giamanco; parents, Frank and Martha, nee Trolard, Wodochek; son-in-law, Bob Thompson; brother, Bob Wodochek; and sisters, Elizabeth Iler and Doris Bennett.

Surviving are her daughters, Jo Thompson of Sparta, Il., and Sandra (Fred) Vincenzo of Villa Rica, Ga.; sisters, Rita Keck of Collinsville, Il., and Donna (Darold) Frey; and grandchildren, Beth (Chris) Carson, Fred "Skip" Vincenzo and Jennifer (Robbie) McLucas.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church in O'Fallon, Il.

Funeral Mass will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 18, 2008 at the church with Monsignor William Hitpas officiating. Mrs. Giamanco's wishes were to be cremated.
