Paula M. Halde, 45, of Troy, Ill., born Jan. 28, 1964, in East St. Louis, Ill., died Sunday, April 5, 2009, in Maryville, Ill.
Paula taught school in Las Cruces, N.M., and was a student at SWIC in Belleville, Ill. She was a member of Mother of Perpetual Catholic Church in Maryville, Ill. She lived most of her life in the Troy area.
She was preceded in death by her father, Fred G. Halde.
Surviving are her mother, Mary, nee Lanter, Halde; brothers, Mark (Anna, nee Italiano) Halde of Collinsville, Ill., and Michael (Lynda) Halde of Troy, Ill.; sisters, Kathleen (Bill) Hillman of Florence, Mont., Denise (Bruce) Lehr of South Weber, Utah and Peggy Jo (Mike) Coolican of Delwood, Ill.; nieces and nephews, Lauren, Kayla, Jake and Karla Halde, Lucas, Paige and Carl Hillman, Cydney, Conner and Erin Lehr and Bridget Coolican.

Friends may call from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at Mother of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Maryville, Ill.
Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2009, at the church with Fr. Joseph Havrilka officiating. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Black Jack, Ill.
