Paul Chesterfield Wright, 82, of St. Jacob, Ill., formerly of Caseyville, Ill., born Dec. 18, 1931, in East St. Louis, Ill., passed away Tuesday, April 2, 2014, at Jefferson Barracks Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.

Mr. Wright was a member of St. Stephen's Catholic Church in Caseyville, Ill. He served his country during the Korean War in the United States Marines.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie C., nee Montine, Wright; and his parents, David and Josephine, nee Thomas, Wright.

Surviving are his children, Ronald Paul (Kim Briggs) Wright of Troy, Ill., Donald Joseph (Ginger) Wright of Maryville, Ill., Charles David (Julie) Wright of Glen Carbon, Ill., and Peggy Ann (Cary) Davis of St. Jacob, Ill.; grandchildren, Dustin Davis, Miles Wright, Jeremy Wright and Heika Wright; four great-grandchildren; and his sisters, Margaret  Riffey of Millstadt, Ill., and Barbara Fischer of Ste. Genevieve, Mo.

A funeral service will be held at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Mount Carmel Cemetery Chapel in Belleville, Ill., with Father John P. Beveridge officiating. Burial will be in Mount Carmel Cemetery in Belleville, Ill.
