Paul Russell Terveer, 79, of Troy, IL, born Tuesday, August 1,1944 in St. Libory, IL and he passed away on Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at his home in Troy, IL.

Paul was a faithful member of the St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, IL.  He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict.  He owned and operated PT transfer for many years.  Paul was a longtime member of American Legion Henry Schmitz Post 683, St. Libory, IL.  He loved his family and enjoyed the times spent together.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert B. and Mary C. (Nee Schroeder) Terveer; brothers, Daniel (Rose) Terveer, Roy (Delores) Terveer, Arthur Terveer; and his sister Rita (Roger) Rulevich

Surviving are his brother, Robert (Diane) Terveer of Freeburg, IL; sister, Estelle (Daniel) Dalman of Freeburg, IL; his sister-in-law, Carol Terveer of Millstadt, IL; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation for Paul will be 9:30 to 10:30 am on Wednesday, July 17, 2024 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Main St., Troy, IL.

Funeral mass will be held at 10:30 am on Wednesday, July 17, at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, Il with Fr. Patrick Gibbons officiating.  Interment with full military honors will follow in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
