Paul W. Levo, 80, of Troy, IL, born December 14, 1936 in Troy, IL passed away Monday, October 2, 2017 at his home in Troy, IL surrounded by his loving family.
Paul was a lifelong member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Troy, IL. He graduated from McCray-Dewey High School, Class of "54". He started his career working for his father at Levo Bakery in Troy, worked for Prudential Insurance Company for 25 years, Charter Communications, Four Flags and Bucky's Car Wash. Paul refereed for High School Football, Basketball and Baseball and was inducted into the IHSA Hall of Fame. He enjoyed writing Sport Talk for the Troy Times Tribune, was a great story teller, he enjoyed playing slow pitch softball, basketball and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals Fan. Most of all he loved his family and the time he spent with them.
Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Peter John and Nina Vera, nee Wild, Levo; brother, Ronald Levo; and sister, Marilyn Bergstrom.
Surviving are his children, Kirk (Rachael) Levo of Troy, IL and Kelli Ponce of Troy, IL; former wife, Bonnie, nee Moeller, Levo of Troy, IL; and grandchildren, Sean, Courtney and Jared Levo, Jordan, Josh and Jayden Ponce.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, October 6, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Mitchel Schuessler officiating. Interment in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Troy, IL
