Obituary
Paul J. Hornberger Jr., 42, of St. Charles, Ill., born Sept. 21, 1970, in Belleville, Ill., died Saturday, Aug. 3, 2013, at his home.
Paul was a member of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Anthony and Dorothy Luckshis and Adam and Hedwig Hornberger.
Surviving are his parents, Paul J. and Linda L., nee Luckshis, Hornberger Sr., of Holiday Shores, Ill.; a brother, Eric A. Hornberger of Holiday Shores, Ill.; and many aunts, uncles, cousin and friends.
Memorials may be made to the Illinois Police Officers Memorial, 435 W. Washington, Springfield, Ill. 62702.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 9, 2013, at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill., and 9 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, Ill.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013, at St. Jerome Catholic Church with Father Pat Jakel officiating. Burial will be at Friedens Cemetery, Troy, Ill.
