Obituary

Paul Emile Ethier, 89, of St. Louis, Mo., born Jan. 30, 1920, in Ste. Michele Des Sainto, Canada, died Monday, May 4, 2009, at St. John's Mercy Medical Center.

Mr. Ethier was a cutter/marker at Lowenbaum Manufacturing Company for over 40 years. He was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union and a World War II Army Veteran stationed at Scott Air Force Base, Ill.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Armand and Clementine, nee Tellier, Ethier; eight brothers and sisters; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law; and a great-nephew, Cary John Richeson.

Surviving are his wife, Nancy, nee Long, Ethier of St. Louis, Mo.; nieces, Debbie Richeson and Pattijo (Mark) Williams; nephews, John "Rich" (Joyce) Richeson, Dennis Richeson and Guideon Richeson; seven great-nieces and nephews; 12 great-great-nieces and nephews; and two brothers, Paul Rondeau of Providence, R.I., and Noel Rondeau of Bridgeton, Mo.

Memorials may be made to charity of choice.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2009, at Mahn Funeral Home, Festus, Mo.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2009, at Mahn Funeral Home, Festus, Mo., with Rev. Charles West officiating. Burial will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, Mo.
