Obituary
Paul Stephen Allen, 65 of Troy, Illinois, born September 5, 1942 in Salisbury, North Carolina, died Sunday, March 9, 2008 at Christian Northeast Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri.
Mr. Allen was retired from the U. S. Air Force and Computer Sciences Corporation.
He was preceded in death by his father, Paul W. Allen; and a brother , Mark Allen.
Surviving are his wife, Sherrill, nee Reed, Allen of Troy, Illinois, his daughters, Laura McInerny of Columbia, Maryland, and Linda (Jay) Dentmon of Melbourne, Florida; his mother, Hazel, nee Lentz, Allen of Tampa, Florida; two brothers, Mike (Karen) Allen of Salisbury, North Carolina, and John (Kathy) Allen of Ellensburg, Washington; a sister, Jeanne (Duke) Covington of Tampa, Florida; and five grandchildren, Katie, Megan, and Sean McInerney, Cody and Kyle Dentmon.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2008, at Laughlin Funeral Home in Troy, Illinois.
Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 12, 2008, at the funeral home.
