Obituary
Pansy M. Hughes, 75, of Troy, Ill., born Aug. 28, 1936, in St. Louis, Mo., died on Monday, July 30, 2012, at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Ill.
Mrs. Hughes was a home-maker. She loved her gardens and sharing the fruits and vegetables with family and friends. She and Richard enjoyed traveling.
Pansy was preceded in death by her parents, James and Ethel, nee Hubbard, Ruddick; and four sisters.
Surviving are her husband, Richard Lee Hughes of Troy, Ill.; daughters, Barbara E. (James) Collins of Troy, Ill., Linda S. (Dennis) Buckingham of Troy, Ill., and Rhonda L. (Mark) Rea of Fort Myers, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and two sisters.
Memorials may be made to Diabetes Association appreciated.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2012, at Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home in Troy, Ill.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 2, 2012, at the funeral home with the Rev. Jim Donahue officiating. Interment in Friedens Cemetery, Troy, Ill.
