Obituary
Otis B. Farless, 84, of Highland, Ill., born June 12, 1925, in Stewart, Tenn., died on Friday, June 11, 2010, at Highland Health Care Center in Highland, Ill.
Mr. Farless was a retired truck driver with the Teamsters Local 600 and worked with Consolidated Forwarding Company.
Otis was preceded in death by his parents, Elbert and Cordia, nee Rose, Farless; brothers, Lester, Garlan, Clarence and Willis Farless; and sister, Oma Underhill.
Surviving are his wife, Marie E., nee Meyer, Farless of Highland, Ill.; son, Kevin Farless of Troy, Ill.; daughter, Sondra Walsh of Highland, Ill.; grandchildren, Holly Taylor, Shannon Walsh, Sherry Farless, Mike Farless and Darren Booth; great-grandchildren, Timothy and Alexandra Mahan, Megan Winkelmeyer, Nylynn Fortner, Brianna Cole, Devon Harvey and Carl Mason Jr.
Memorials may be made to Heartland Hospice.
Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday, June 14, 2010, at Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill.
Service will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, June 14, 2010, at the funeral home with the Rev. Mike Garrison officiating. Interment in Sunset Cemetery in Edwardsville, Ill.
