Obituary
Opal E. Keilbach, 90, of St. Jacob, Ill., born Aug. 5, 1923, in Highland, Ill., died Friday, Dec. 13, 2013.
Opal retired from Basler Electric Company, Highland, Ill., after 49 years of dedicated service.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer Keilbach whom she married on Dec. 26, 1939; her parents, John and Minnie, nee Schlicht, Nungesser; and a sister, Wanedith Suess.
Surviving are her daughter, Gladys (Richard L.) Schiefer of St. Jacob, Ill.; and a grand-daughter, Crystal L. (Randy Harris) Schiefer.
Memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels or charity of donors choice.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 17, 2013, and 10 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013, at Aebischer-Richeson Funeral Home in St. Jacob, Ill.
Service will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013, at the funeral home with the Rev. Gary Kniepkamp officiating. Interment in Highland City Cemetery, Highland, Ill.
