Obituary
Nita Belle McKay, nee Bratten, 80, of Maryville, Ill., born Jan. 1, 1932, in Marion, Ill., died on Monday, July 23, 2012, at St. Louis University Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
Mrs. McKay had retired from Famous Barr as an accountant. She was a long time member of Meadow Heights Baptist Church in Collinsville, Ill.
Nita was preceded in death by her husband William E. McKay, parents, Carlton and Pauline, nee Owens, Bratten; and a brother, Theodore Bratten.
Surviving are her son, Carl (Cathy) McKay of Collinsville, Ill.; granddaughter, Heather (Mike) Clemmer; and great-grandchildren, Ethan, Clayton and Hudson Clemmer.
Memorials may be made to the family.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home in Troy, Ill.
Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 27, 2012, at the funeral home with the Rev. Michael Barnes officiating. Interment in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Glen Carbon, Ill.
