Mryna Lee Steele, 89, of Troy, IL, born Wednesday, May 24, 1933 and passed away peacefully at her home on January 20, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

She was a long time member of Revive Assembly of God Church in Collinsville, IL.  She enjoyed playing piano and organ for the church services she attended.  Myrna's family was the most important part of her life, she enjoyed the times they spent together.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Steele whom she married March 15, 1952 and he passed away April 19, 2010; her parents, Clement and Gertrude (nee Allison) Cook; her sister, Phyllis Rankin; brothers' Glenn, Raymond and Donald Cook.

Surviving are her children, Janet Wilson of Troy, IL, Keith (Linda) Steele of Pocahontas, IL, Bruce (Judy) Steele of Troy, IL and Annette (Frank) Menchak of Troy, IL; grandchildren, Brian (Tami) Steele, Ryan (Kim) Wilson, Christina (Luke) Hewitt, Leigh Ann (Jake) Smith, Andrew (Sarah) Steele, William (Chelsea) Menchak, Allison (Steve) Seithel and Danielle (Zachary) Gagne; 19 great-grandkids of which she loved deeply; sister-in-law, Jackie Cook; brother-in-law, Richard D. "Harpo" Rankin; nieces, nephews and many dear friends.

Visitation for Myrna will be held 5 to 8 pm on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL and 10 to 11 am on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Revive Assembly of God Church, 1105 Beltline Road, Collinsville, IL  62234.

Funeral services will be held 11 am on Wednesday, January 25, 2023 at Revive Assembly of God Church with Rev. Myles Holmes officiating.  Interment will be in Friedens Cemetery, Troy, IL.
