Obituary
Muriel P. Maine, nee Bequeret, 93, of Troy, Ill., born Oct. 10, 1914, in St. Louis, Mo., died Thursday, May 22, 2008, at Elmwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Maryville, Ill.
Mrs. Maine was homemaker. She was a member of Kane Baptist Church and Troy Christian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Maine Sr., who died Jan. 18, 1962; a son, Perry Westfall; a daughter, Patricia Evers; a grandchild, Chantelle Thomure; her parents, Joseph A. and Viola, nee Sweeney, Bequeret; one brothers; and three sisters.
Surviving are her sons, Joseph E. Westfall of Troy, Ill., and Daniel T. (Jackie) Maine II, of Troy, Ill.; her daughter, Melody F. (Bill) Worthen of Sorento, Ill.; her sister, Ethel (Charles) Dee of Swansea, Ill.; 12 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Maine requested cremation with a private family memorial service at a later date.
