Mitzi Blink (Schneck), 93, of Troy, IL, born June 17, 1929, in Markt Eisenstein, Czechoslovakia, passed
away on October 19, 2022 in her Troy home with family by her side.

Mitzi was a long time member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, IL, and was involved in St. Ann's
Council of Catholic Women and the Madison County Association for Home and Community Education.
She cherished her family and was the happiest when spending time with them.

Mitzi was preceded in death by her parents, Josef and Marie (nee Goessel) Schneck, her husband,
Eugene F Blink Sr., who she married May 12, 1956, and her siblings Franz Schneck, Josef Schneck, Karl
Schneck, Ludwig Schneck, and Otto Schneck.

Surviving are her son, SFC (Ret.) Eugene F (Wendi) Blink Jr. of Bettendorf, IA; sisters, Suzanne Roby and
Paula (Viktor) Straub, Grandchildren, Kevin (Stephanie) Taylor, Katrina (SSG Austin) Gram, Kaitlyn Blink,
and Kelsey Blink; and great-grandchildren, Olivia Taylor and Dallas Taylor.

Visitation for Mitzi will be 5 to 7 pm on Tuesday, October 25, at Richeson Funeral home and on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 from 9 to 10 am at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, IL.

Funeral mass will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, troy, IL with Fr. Jim Thomas officiating.  Interment will be at Jefferson barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
