Mildred Maxine Zupcic, 95, of St. Jacob, Ill., born January 2, 1920, in West Eminence, Mo., died Monday, May 25, 2015, at Eden Village, Glen Carbon, Ill.
Mildred was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church; past-president of St. Jacob Lioness Club; past member of St. Jacob Lions Club; Royal Neighbors of Troy; American Legion of Mulberry Grove, American Legion Post 305 Venice and Madison and past-president of South Western Home Bureau. Mildred retired from Crane Packing. The Zupcics were the security guards for over 35 years for Triad Middle School across from their home in St. Jacob, Ill.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tony Zupcic, whom she married on September 21, 1944, and who preceded her in death on July 29, 1995; and two brothers, Eugene and Howard Wallace.
Surviving are many nieces and nephews.
