Mildred E. Corey, 90, of Granite City, IL, born October 26, 1927 in East Prairie, MO passed away Monday, February 19, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Mildred enjoyed her family and would do all she could to make them happy, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren were the love of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Pearl (nee Higgins) Parr; husbands, Buster Tatum, Dallas Sloan, Ervin Starck and Daton Corey; daughter, Joyce Seagraves; sisters, Louis Nolan, Freda Sutherland and Dorothy Brown.

Surviving are her children, Jerry (Kathy) Tatum of Moro, IL, David (Jeannie) Sloan of Ft. Worth, TX, Lee (Diane) Sloan of Highland, IL, Dale (Jan) Sloan of Highland, IL Don Stark of Granite City, IL, Donna Hatridge of Granite City, IL, Doris Gaultney of Thayer, MO, Liz (Frank) Bandy of Highland, IL, Sharon (Pete Gifford) Buxton of Collinsville, IL and Marilyn (James Hayden) Farenzena of Granite City, IL; 29 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.
