Retired Air Force Master Sargeant, Michael F. Wilcox, 76, of Maryville, Ill., born Sept. 24, 1940 in Grand Rapids, Mich., passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Ill.
Michael retired from the Air Force as a Master Sgt. Serving in the Vietnam Conflict. He then retired from Boeing. He loved and was loved by his family.
Michael was preceded in death by his son, James Wilcox; parents, Dean A. and Mona, nee Arndt, Wilcox; brothers, Bradford and Barry Wilcox.
Surviving are his wife, Francisca, nee Lantaca, Wilcox; sons, Richard (Carla) Wilcox of Edwardsville, Ill. and Robert Wilcox of Kansas City, Kan.; and grand-children, Alexa, Celeste, Jordyn, Elyse, Amy and Stacie Wilcox.

Memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2017 at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill., with Rev. Dr. Rob Schneider officiating. Interment will be in Friedens Cemetery.
