Michael D. Warren, 82, of Troy, IL, born Friday, May 7, 1943, in St. Louis, MO and passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2025, at his home surrounded by his loving family.

Michael served his country faithfully in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict.  He attended SIU Carbondale and retired as a Telecommunication technician from AT&T.  Michael was a member of the American Legion.  He enjoyed watching all sports and was a huge fan of the St. Louis Blues and Cardinals.  Most of all he loved his family and always smiled a little more each time they were together especially with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, E. Arthur Warren and Delbert "Bud" and Georgia (nee Elmore) Allen.

Surviving is his wife, Linda "Dee" (nee Everts) Warren; his son, Art (Toni) Warren of Troy, IL; grandchildren, Kyle ( fiancé Arabella Martychenko) Warren and Cory Warren; his siblings, Gloria Helderman of Jerseyville, IL, John (Jamie) Allen of Carrolton, IL, Cathy (Sandy Ferris) Allen and Mary Allen all of Jerseyville, IL; nephews, great-nephew, cousins and many dear friends.

Visitation for Michael will be 10 am to 12 noon of Saturday, August 30, 2025, Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL.

Funeral service will be held at 12 noon on Saturday, August 30, at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL with Rev. Dan Perry officiating.  Interment will be in Friedens Cemetery, Troy, IL.  A Celebration of Life Service will be scheduled for a later date and will be held at Tri-Township Park, Troy, IL.
