Michael R. Scott, 70 of Alton, IL, he was born Sunday, July 25, 1954, in Germany and passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2024, at his home in Alton, IL.

Michael served in the United States Navy during the Vietnam War.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard L. and Rose marie (nee Zagorac) Scott; and his sister, Janice Scott.

Surviving are his sister, Patricia (Karen Terrell) of St. Jacob, IL; brothers, Steven (Nancy) Scott of Waterloo, IL and Richard (Christy) Scott of Troy, MO; nieces and nephews, Matthew (Melissa) Scott, Nicholas Scott, Shannon (Justin) Dobsh, Abigail Scott and Zachary Scott; 4 great-nieces and nephews.
