Michael O. Roszell, 76, of Troy, IL, born October 3, 1948, in Los Angeles, CA and he passed away peacefully at his home on Friday, March 21, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Michael served his Country faithfully in the United States Air Force serving during the Vietnam era and then continued his services with Flight Management at Scott AirForce Base.  He enjoyed his sailboat, flying planes and motorcycle rides.  Michael was an avid reader and could be found sitting on the porch with his kindle and smoking a cigar.  His love for his family was always number one and he enjoyed all the time and places they spent together.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Harold E. and Margaret B. (nee Ohmes) Roszell.

Surviving is his wife, Evie (nee Kayser) Roszell; his children, Ollie and Glenn Roszell of Troy, IL and Rex Wilson and family of TX; his sister Susie (Greg) McDougall of Reno, NV; nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Visitation for Michael will be from 10:30 am to 12 noon on Thursday April 3, 2025, at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL.

Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL.  Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with full military honors.
