Michael H. Quinn, age 62, of Troy, passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2003 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, Illinois. Mr. Quinn retired from the United States Air Force as a Chief Master Sergeant in 1989 after 30 years of service. He must recently was employed at Southern Illinois Univeristy in Edwarsville in the text book service department. He has lived here since 1984 and was a member of St. Jerome's Catholic Church in Troy. Mr. Quinn was preceded in death by his mother, Teresa, nee Case, Quinn. Surviving are his wife Rosemarie, nee Kolata, Quinn of Troy; two sons, Sgt. Michael (Melissa) Quinn of the US Marine Corps, Bufford, South Carolina and Brian Quinn of Troy; his father, Henry Quinn of Litchfield, Minnesota; three brothers, James (Elenita) Quinn of Minneapolis, Dennis (Deborah) Quinn of Litchfield, MN, and Timothy (Janie) Quinn of Attica, Indiana; four sisters Mary (Tom) Johnson of Hastings, MN, Susan Thomas of Minneapolis, Catherine(Dan) Leppa of Minneapolis and Theresa Quinn of Hutchinson, MN and two grandchildren, Michael, Jr. and Amelia Quinn.

Visitation: 4:00 pm, Sunday, March 9, 2003 at Laughlin Funeral Home and again at 9:30 am Monday at St. Jerome Catholic Church in Troy.

Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 am, Monday, March 10, 2003 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, Illinois with Rev. Steven Janoski officiating.

Burial with full military honors will be at St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Black Jack, South of Troy, Illinois
