Michael "Mike" Kostyshock, 76, of Troy, Ill., born June 4, 1933, in St. Louis, Mo., died Thursday, Aug. 27, 2009, at St. Anthony's Medical Center.
Mike worked as a sales service representative. He was a member of St. Jeromes 50 Plus Club, St. Jeromes Catholic Church and graduated from Collinsville High School.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Michael and Anna, nee Zakrzewski, Kostyshock Sr.; and brother, Ralph P. Kostyshock.
Surviving are his wife, Delores, nee Butcher, Kostyshock; his son, David M. (Shannon) Kostyshock of High Ridge, Mo.; his daughters, Beverly L. (Bob) Conreaux of Mascoutah, Ill., Cynthia L. Schwinn of Troy, Ill., and Michelle M. (Henry) Melamed of Creve Couer, Mo.; two sisters, Betty A. (Ray) Hoffman of Granite City, Ill., and Joan (Roy) Wrigley of Alhambra, Ill.; a brother Edward R. (Rose) Kostyshock of Maryville, Ill.; and his grandchildren, Cassie and Amanda Schwinn, Kari and Krystle Conreaux, David and Jennifer Melamed, and Alex Kostyshock.
Memorials may be made in the form of Masses, to the American Lung Association, the American Heart Association, or the charity of choice.
Friends may call from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009, at St. Jeromes Catholic Church Troy, Ill.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 29, 2009, at the church. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Edwardsville, Ill.
