Obituary
Michael Dale Juehne, 58, of Troy, Ill., born Sept. 27, 1955, in Highland, Ill., died Thursday, Aug. 14, 2014, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
Michael worked for Local 309 Electrical Workers. He loved his family, travel, especially cruising, cooking and eating Italian food and enjoyed anytime he was able to spend on his motorcycle.
He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Dale Juehne.
Surviving are his wife, Sherry, nee Sommerfeldt, Juehne; children, Gerolyn (Derek) Westerbeck of Collinsville, Ill., and Melissa (Joshua) Sweitzer of Caseyville, Ill.; stepdaughter, Lindsay Mecklenberg of Troy, Ill.; grandchildren, Lisette, Canaan and Adele Sweitzer, Allison Mann, Eden Soto and Erin Westerback; his mother, Rosalind "Terrie", nee Comporato, Juehne; and brothers, Thomas (Twyla) Juehne of Troy, Ill., and Todd (Elizabeth) Juehne of Trenton, Ill.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 19, 2014, at the funeral home with Father Pat Jakel officiating.
