Michael D. Drozda, 40, of Troy, IL, born Sunday, December 28, 1980 in St. Louis, MO and passed away on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.

Michael was an avid Blues fan.  Loved and was loved by his family and his friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Tammy Marie Beatman; his sisters, Crystal Crews and Ariel Beatman; grandmother, Edith A. Salveson; and his uncles Raymond Jr. and Mark Cheatham.

Surviving are his Aunt Nay/mom, Renee (Dave Giger) Crews of Troy, IL; sister, Valerie Beatman of Elsberry, MO; father, Walter Drozda of St. Louis, MO; grandfather, Raymond Cheatham Sr. of Pontoon Beach, IL; aunts, Debbie Andrews of St. Louis, Mo, and Kim L. Ens of St. Peters, MO; uncle, Larry Crews of Highland, IL; nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.

Visitation will be held 4 to 7 pm on Friday, August 27, 2021 at RICHESON FUNERAL HOME, Troy, IL.

A Celebration of Michaels life will be held at 7 pm on Friday at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL with Rev. Jeff Chamberlain officiating.  Michael's family asks that you wear your favorite St. Louis Blues attire.
