Obituary
Michael Eugene Bovinett, age 37, of Troy, Illinois died Friday, July 9, 2010 at his residence.
Michael was born May 25, 1973 in Belleville, IL. to Steven David and Shirley Mae Bovinett, Sr. Michael was a loving and gentle person who liked helping others and working on cars. He most enjoyed his family and was a dedicated uncle to his niece and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Steven D. Bovinett, Sr.; and grandparents, Margaret and Bernard Kane and Eugene Bovinett.
Michael is survived by his mother, Shirley Mae, nee Kane, Bovinett and her partner, Thomas McElroy of Troy, IL.; sister, Michelle Bovinett of Edwardsville, IL.; brother, Steven D. (Tanya) Bovinett, Jr. of Caseyville, IL.; grandmother, Dorothea Bovinett of Troy, IL., and niece and nephews, Preston Kueper, and Britanny, Devon and Adam Bovinett.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the family would be appreciated.
Visitation will be Wednesday, July 14, 2010 from 10 to 11 a.m. at the Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home in Troy, IL.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 14, 2010, 11 a.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Hal Santos officiating.
According to Michael's wishes, his body will be cremated.
