Mr. Schoene was born February 10, 1921 in Rammenau, Germany. He married Irmgard M. Schieritz in July 1944. He was retired from Revlon, Inc., in New Jersey, where he worked as a tool & dye maker. He lived in New Jersey until 1985 when he moved to Troy, Illinois. He was past president of the German Club of Rahway. He was a wonderful grandfather, noted for being honorable and kind to all and was always willing to help others, especially his grandsons. He is survived by his wife Irmgard, one daughter Gabriele (Bert) Steinhauff of Troy and two grandsons Eric and Kirk.

Funeral Services: 11:00 AM, Tuesday, July 30, 2002 at Laughlin Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. James Zimmerman officiating. Cremation followed.
