Mavis M. Wilson, 84, of Troy, IL, born March 18, 1931, in Kennett, MO, passed away Sunday, Dec. 6, 2015, at Barnes Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Mavis attended State Park Assembly of God Church where her husband of almost 65 years, Rev. Herbert E. Wilson is Pastor. She was a quilter, enjoyed ceramics, cross word and puzzle games. She loved her family and was loved by her family more than life.

She was preceded in death by her son, Herbert D. "Herb" Wilson; grandson, Kent D. Wilson Jr.; parents Raymond V. and Mamie Agnes (nee Barnes) Trout; sisters, Jean (Charles) Mayberry, Agnes Ermalee Trout; brother, Raymond Wiley Trout.

Surviving are her husband, Rev. Herbert E. Wilson of Troy, IL; sons, Gary (Sheila) Wilson, Kevin (Debbie) Wilson and Kent (Dorinda) Wilson all of Troy, IL; daughter-in-law, Janet (nee Steele) Wilson of Troy, IL; grandchildren, Hollie and Timothy Fike, Kevin Jr. and Amanda Wilson, Travis and Merideth Wilson, Andrew Wilson, Ryan and Aleida Wilson, Benjamin and Naomi Wilson, Jonathon Wilson, Daniel and Stephanie Wilson, Kendra Wilson and Mitchell Wilson; great-grandchildren, Adam, Thomas, Anna, Abby, Jordan, Kevin III, Kenzi, Morgan, TJ, Tyler, Paxton, Benji Jr., Micah, Titus, Judah and Brycen; siblings, William (Sue) Trout, LaVera Trout, Vernon (Melba) Trout, Mildred (James) Austin, Brenda (Jerry) Davis, Linda (James) Hardin and Carolyn (Ron) Thorn; many nieces, nephews cousins and a host of Friends.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 9, 2015, at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL, and again 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015 at New Rivers Assembly of God Church, 2620 N Center St, Maryville, IL 62062.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, 2015, at New Rivers Assembly of God Church, Maryville, IL. Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, IL.
