Matthew Paul Kleemann, 27, of Highland, Ill, born May 1, 1982, in Corpus Christi, Texas, died Saturday, Dec. 19, 2009, in Troy, Ill.
Matthew was a graduate of Metamora Community High School, Class of 2000. He was a musician playing with the bands, Our First Summer, and Nothing Still and Saucy Jack, and worked at Kelly's Butcher Shop at the 4-0.
He was preceded in death by a brother, David Kleemann.
Surviving are his parents, Paul J. and Robin L., nee Bell, Kleemann of Highland, Ill.; brothers, Anthony Kleemann of Edwardsville, Ill., and Brandon Kleemann of Highland, Ill.; sister, Jenni Kleemann; and grandparents, Larry and Evelyn Hanley, Sharon and Ronald Bell, Hubert Kleemann and Roberta Bernardi.
Memorials may be made to the family and will be accepted at the funeral home.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 22, 2009, at Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2009, at Laughlin-Richeson Funeral Home with Rev. Matt Henson officiating. Burial will be at Friedens Cemetery, Troy, Ill.
