Mary A. Hoedebecke, 94, of Troy, IL, born Thursday, June 19, 1930 in Granite City, Il and passed away on Monday, August 5, 2024 at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in O'Fallon, IL.
Mary was a faithful member of St. Jerome Catholic Church in Troy, IL. She loved her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren and anytime she was able to spend with them.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome C. Hoedebecke whom she married on July 4, 1949 and he passed away on April 4, 2000; her son, David Hoedebecke; her great-grandson, Harrison Siddall; and her brothers, Ralph Rotter, Gene and Paul Umberhine
Surviving are her children, Judy (Tom) Smedley of Purcell, OK, Sue (Keith) Callahan of Phoenix, AZ, Carol (Steve) Layman of Troy, IL, Steve (Angi Warren) Hoedebecke of Troy, IL and Andy (Terri) Hoedebecke of Edwardsville, IL, daughter-in-law, Cindy Hoedebecke of Troy, IL; grandchildren, Ken Smedley, Tony (Cheree) Smedley, Rawn (Ashleigh) Smedley, Danny Smedley, Douglas Callahan, Stephen (Sarah) Callahan, Paige Callahan, Katie (Keenan) White, Krista (Michael) Siddall, Kara (Tristan) Reising, Kasie Adrian, Krista (Matthew) Ranck, Sabrina (Colton) Schambach, Samantha Krichbaum, Grant Hoedebecke, Drew (Taylor) Hoedebecke and Drea Hodebecke; 28 Great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren; her sister-in-law, Jeanette Hoedebecke of Glen Carbon, IL; and many dear friends.

Visitation for Mary will be held 9:30 to 10:30 am on Thursday, August 8, at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, IL.
Funeral mass will be 10:30 am on Thursday, August 8, 2024 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, IL, with Fr. Kevin Laughery officiating. Interment will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery, Black Jack, IL.
