Mary R. Fultz, 90, of Troy, IL, born June 20, 1933 in St. Louis, MO and passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 19, 2023 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, IL.

Ruth loved her family and was always happiest when she was with them.  She was a huge supporter of the Salvation Army.  Ruth enjoyed watch the St. Louis Cardinals, crafting with plastic canvas and crocheting.  She was always ready for a good game of bingo.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur P. Fultz Sr. whom she married September 3, 1949 and he passed away May 15, 1976; her daughters, Debbie K. Fultz and Hope E. Crooks; parents Joseph Smith and Helen (nee Greene) Faigle; and her brothers, Johnny and Charles Smith.

Surviving are her sons, Ret. Major Arthur (Diane) Fultz Jr. of Springhill, FL, Michael (Joan) Fultz of Granite City, IL and Dale (Tammy) Fultz, Troy, IL; grandchildren, Jeremy Crooks, Sarah R. (Chris) Fleenor, John Hopkins, Nichcole Hopkins, Major Sarah B. (Major Dan) Nelson, Rebecca (Mark) Gilliam, Ryan P. and  Scott A. Fultz and Jill Ponder; great-grandchildren, Hannah and Nolan Nelson, Cameron, Sawyer and Caraline Fleenor, Chloe Gilliam, Tobias (Christmas) Gilliam, Samanthia and Noah Hopkins and Jasper Sugden; nieces, nephews, cousins and many dear friends.

Visitation for Mary will be 5 to 8 pm on Wednesday, October 25, and 10 to 11 am on Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL.

Funeral services will be held 11 am Thursday, October 26, 2023 at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, IL with Rev. Bryan Harris officiating.  Interment will be at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery, St. Louis, MO.
