Marlene M. Krotz, 65, of St. Jacob, IL, born Friday, December 11, 1953 in Highland, IL passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Friday, January 18, 2019 at her home in St. Jacob, IL.

Marlene was retired from Operating Engineers Local 520. She loved her family and always lived life to its fullest.

She was preceded in death by her father, Delmar J. Krotz; sister, Connie Sue Krotz; brother, William "Bill" Krotz; and sister-in-law, Darla K. Anderson.

Surviving are her children, Darren (Daphne) Reding, Chad (Jessie) Reding, Carrie (Rob Handling) Phillips and Tara (Dale) Kampwerth; grandchildren, Cheyenne, Briar, Easton, Ridge, Marli, Amelia, Allison and Oliver; her mother, Loretta (nee Hackethal) Krotz; brothers, D.J. (Fox) Krotz, Mike (Rhonda) Krotz, Jim (Lisa) Krotz and Steve (Laurie Vosholler) Krotz; sister Kathy (Jeffrey Hoerner) Acree.
