Marla Elaine Duda, nee Blevins, 65, of Troy, Ill., born on Aug. 17, 1948, in Granite City, Ill., died on Sunday, Nov. 3, 2013, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, Mo.
Marla had retired as a volunteer coordinator for the USO.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Reva, nee Pike, Blevins; brothers, Rodney, Gilbert and Glen Blevins; and a sister, Pearl Kynion.
Surviving are her husband, Wally Duda of Troy, Ill.; daughters, Cori Smith of Troy, Ill., and Colbi (Jerry) Castillo of St. Jacob, Ill.; grandchildren, Victoria, Jerry Lee and Madison Castillo; great-grandchildren, Uriah and Ahleyah Vasques; and sister, Portia (Bud) Bailey of Maryville, Ill.
Memorials may be made to Siteman Cancer Center.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at Richeson Funeral Home in Troy, Ill.
Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 8, 2013, at the funeral home with the Rev. Dennis Price officiating.
