Obituary
Mrs. Marion F. (nee: Waters) Bauer, age 84, of Glen Carbon, Ill., born June 19, 1921 in Granite City, Ill., died February 3, 2006 at her residence.
Mrs. Bauer was a member of Christ United Methodist Church in Fairview Heights, Ill., and a member of the Order of Eastern Star-Daughters of the Nile.
Mrs. Bauer is preceded in death by her parents, George W. and Ethel (nee: Bonner) Waters, and her brother, George R. Waters.
Mrs. Bauer is survived by her husband, Harold Bauer of Glen Carbon, Ill., whom she married August 19, 1939 in Missouri, three daughters, Mrs. Sharon Lee (Bobby Lee) Culberson of Troy, Ill., Ms. Judy Ann Hahn of Collinsville, Ill., and Mrs. Marilyn (Steve) Foehrkolb of Collinsville, Ill.,and two grandchildren, Lisa Pethenos of California and Chris (Nicole) LeBeau of Troy, Ill.
VISITATION: Friends may call at the Laughlin Funeral Home after 4:00 P.M. on Sunday, February 5, 2006, and from 8:00 A.M. to time of service at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 6, 2006. Interment will be at Friedens Cemetery, Troy, Ill. Memorials are to be made to Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children.
