Marie E. Farless, nee Meyer, 90, of Highland, Ill., born May 27, 1925, in Prairietown, Ill., died Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016, at her home, surrounded by her family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Otis B. Farless, whom she married June 10, 1945, and who passed away June 11, 2010; and parents, Ferdinand and Clara, nee Gusewelle, Meyer.

Surviving are her children, Kevin Farless of Dupo, Ill., and Sondra Walsh of Highland, Ill.; grandchildren, Holly Taylor, Shannon Walsh, Sherry (John) Farless-Ivy, Michael (Jodie) Farless and Darren Booth; great-grandchildren, Timothy, Alexandra and Chase, Mahan, Megan Winkelmeyer, Nylynn Fortner, Brianna Cole, Devon Harvey, Carl Mason Jr., and Amelia Duffy; and a sister, Vernita Masinelli of Staunton, Ill.

Visitation from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016, at Richeson Funeral Home, Troy, Ill.

Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 20 at the funeral home with Rev. Leonard Laetsch officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Cemetery, Glen Carbon, Ill.
