Marian L. Beyer, 72, of St. Jacob, IL, born Sunday, November 2, 1947 in St. Louis, MO and passed away at the Evelyn House in St. Louis, MO on Friday April 17, 2020.

Marian was a member of Highland Community Church, she also attended Troy United Methodist Church and loved participating in their music and travel programs. In her early years she was active in the 4-H, Jobs Daughters and Troy Rebekah Lodge. She attended St. Jacob Grade School, Triad High School and graduated from University of IL with her degree in Business and Education. She retired from the Highland School District with 30 years of service. Marian enjoyed all types of music, arts and crafts, photography and scrapbooking, traveling with friends, nature and the outdoors. She loved spending time in her yard and taking care of her cats. Playing trivia with her friends was always a great treat for her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Russell and Emma Wilhelmina (Noll) Beyer.

Surviving are her friend and caregiver, Marilyn Haegele and her family of Alhambra, IL; cousins Edward and Eileen Beard and Paul and Jane Langenwalter both of St. Louis, MO.

Memorials may be made to Highland Animal Shelter, Highland, IL, St. Jacob Lions Club, Leader Dogs for the Blind, P O Box 242, St. Jacob, IL of charity of one's choice.

A Memorial visitation and service will be held at Highland Community Church, Highland, IL with
Rev. Mark McGranahan officiating at a later date. Interment will be in Keystone Cemetery, St. Jacob, IL
