Mrs. Margaret Morgan (nee:Valesano), 90, born July 14, 1917 in Maryville, Illinois, passed away October 11, 2007 at Rosewood Nursing Home, Edwardsville, Illinois.

Mrs. Morgan was the daughter of Dominic and Theresa (nee: Oberto) Valesano. Margaret was born and raised and lived her entire life in the same house in Maryville, Illinois. Mrs. Morgan loved to cook. She was always baking something and did a lot of canning. Gardening was one of her favorite pastimes. She loved collecting recipes and pictures. Her house and her family were her pride and joy. Mrs. Morgan was a faithful and devoted wife to the late Reverend Paul Morgan whom she married on January 28, 1943 and he passed away on September 8, 2003.

Mrs. Morgan is survived by her two sons, James (Jan) Morgan and Robert (Linda) Morgan, both of Maryville, Illinois, her grandchildren Jamie (Alie) Morgan of Maryville, Illinois, Jennifer Morgan, Robbie Lynn Morgan and Stephen Morgan, and two great-grandchildren Sam and Cara.

Mrs. Morgan is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Reverend Paul Morgan, her brother Victor Valesano, and her half-brothers Dominic "Bab" Vallino, and Tony Vallino.

VISITATION HOURS; Friends may call at the Laughlin Funeral Home after 3 P.M. on Sunday, October 14, 2007.

FUNERAL SERVICES will be conducted at 11 A.M. on Monday at the Troy Assembly of God Church, Troy, Illinois with Brother Gary Thomas officiating. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery, Glen Carbon, Illinois.
