Luella C. Jones, 76, of Troy, Illinois, born January 28, 1929 in Collinsville, Illinois, died Friday, December 9, 2005 at Anderson Hospital, Maryville, Illinois.

Mrs. Jones was a laundry mat attendant for 20 years at South Town Laundry Mat, Collinsville, Illinois. She was a member of "TOPS" Inc. for 22 years. She was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, Illinois, of St.Ann's Council of Catholic Women for four years and the 50's Plus Club of St. Jerome.

Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Richard Jones Sr., her parents, Louis and Edna (nee: Jones) Castelli, and a sister, Ruth Ann Ferguson of Houston, Texas.

Surviving are her children, Earl Richard Jones, Jr., of Callahann, Florida, Linda S. Hazel of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Cynthia (Eugene) Kite of Troy, Illinois, Eileen (Joseph) Merrifield of Collinsville, Illinois, Luella M. (Fred) Ataiyan of Belleville, Illinois, and Pamela L. Jones of Troy, Illinois, five brothers, Louis (Lorene) Castelli of Colorado Springs, Colorado, Joe Castelli of Florida, Robert (Wilma) Castelli of Collinsville, John Castelli of Collinsville, and David (Alice) Castelli of Glen Carbon, Illinois, 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, Illinois.

VISITATION: Friends may call from 5:00 to 8:00 P.M. Tuesday, December 13, 2005 at Laughlin Funeral Home, Troy, Illinois.

FUNERAL:Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, December 14, 2005 at St. Jerome Catholic Church, Troy, Illinois, with the Rev. Stephen Janoski officiating. Interment will be in Lake View Memorial Gardens, Fairview Heights, Illinois.
