Lorraine L. Stites, nee Mizulski, age 79, of Collinsville, IL, born July 7, 1938 in East St. Louis, IL passed away Monday, October 2, 2017 at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City, IL

Mrs. Stites worked as a secretary/receptionist and a social service clerk.  She was married 55 years to Theodore A. Stites, Sr. until his death in 2014.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Stites was preceded in death by her father, Stefan Mizulski; mother Veronica Mizulski, nee Kmiecik; stepmother Vera Mizulski; brother Edward Mizulski; sister Joanne Drag; sister-in-law Elaine Mizulski; and brother-in-law Steven Drag.

She is survived by her son, Ted (Linda) Stites, Jr. of O'Fallon, IL and their two children, Renee Stites of O'Fallon, IL and Andy Stites of Champaign, IL; her son Jeff Stites of Collinsville, IL; her daughter, Sue Stites-Olsson of Collinsville, IL and her three children, T.J. Aldridge of Collinsville, IL and Austin and Molly Olsson of Collinsville, IL; her daughter, Pam Miller of Collinsville, IL and her four children, Zachary Miller of Caseyville, IL, Sergeant Blake Miller of Ft. Bliss, TX; Petty Officer Third Class Colton Miller of Naval Air Station Sigonella, Sicily, Italy; and Jared Miller of Caseyville, IL; her brother Walter (Beverly) Mizulski of Collinsville, IL; her sister Gertrude (Edward) Stelmacki of St. Charles, MO; her sister-in-law, Grace (Bob) McAteer of Old Brookville, NY; and numerous nephews, nieces, brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-law, relatives, and friends.

In accordance with her wishes her body will be cremated.  Graveside services will be held Friday, October 6 at 2:00pm at St. Adalbert's Cemetery, Fairview Heights, IL, with Fr. Charles Tuttle presiding.
