Lola Jean "Joy" Porter, 76, of St. Jacob, Ill., born July 16, 1939, in Pocahontas, Ill., passed away Nov. 6, 2015, at her home.

Lola attended St. Jacob United Church of Christ. She loved and was loved by her family. She enjoyed quilting and visiting with friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Richard and Mary, nee Long, McIntyre.

Surviving are her husband, William Thomas Porter of St. Jacob, Ill.; children, Vickey (Marvin) Kramer of Farina, Ill., Sandy (Steve) Prusa of Highland, Ill., Linda (Bob) Bollman of Highland, Ill., and Jerry (Carol) Porter of St. Jacob, Ill.; grandchildren, Kyle (Audrey) Prusa, Taylor Prusa, Morgan Kramer and Dylan Bollman; brother, Dick (Dorrie) McIntyre of Keysport, Ill.; and sister, Joanne (Roy) Harris of Troy, Ill.; brother-in-laws, Denis Porter of Vancouver, Wash. and Robert (Claudia) Porter of Mulberry Grove, Ill.; and her beloved dog Rusty.

Memorials may be made to Keystone Cemetery in St. Jacob, Ill., or to a charity of the donor's choice.

Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015, at St. Jacob United Church of Christ, St. Jacob, Ill.

Funeral services will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015, at the church with Rev. Gary Kniepkamp officiating.
