Lillian C. Gaultney, 89, of St. Jacob, IL, born Saturday, October 24, 1931 in St. Jacob, IL and passed away at her home on Monday, January 25, 2021.
Lillian was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Highland, IL, Lutheran Women's Missionary League, MO Synod, Christian Women's Club, Dorcas. She was also a member of St. Jacob Fire Department Auxiliary, Bussong-Mersinger American Legion Post 665 Auxiliary, Highland VFW Auxiliary Post 5694, St. Jacob Women's Bowling League. She was active with quilting for World Relief Quilts and supported the Braille Bibles program.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter E. "Bud" Gaultney Jr.; her son, Keith Gaultney; parents Edwin and Hilda (nee Payer) Nagel; sisters, Elvera Fohne and Arlene Kirsch; sister-in-law's, Betty Wilke, Irene Kohl Frieda Sponemann.
Surviving are her children, Kerry (Deb) Gaultney of Collinsville, IL and Kim (Robert) Bindrim of St. Jacob, IL; grandchildren, Walter Ellis Gaultney III, Jennifer (Jason) Kuhlman, Rachel (Tim) Dotson, Kristin (Tyler) Robbins, Jamey (Erin) Criswell, Alissa (Jacob) Moody, Kari (Cody) Strawser, Robby (Danielle) Bindrim; great-grandchildren, Ivy and Ryker Criswell, Jackson, Lilliana, Aubriella and Hudson Moody, Eloise and Gabriella Strawser, Mia Robbins and Myla Bindrim; brother, Leon Nagel; brother-in-law, Kenneth Gaultney of O'Fallon, IL; sister-in-law's, Virginia Neibrugge of Troy, IL, Fran (Bill) Kohl of Troy, IL and Phyllis (Phil) Weatherspoon of Troy, IL; nieces, nephews, cousin and many dear friends.

Funeral services will be held 11:30 am Saturday, January 30, 2021 at Hope Lutheran Church, Highland, IL with Rev. Scott Busacker officiating. Interment will be in St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Troy, IL
