Lewis D. Scott, 81, of Highland, Ill., born Sept. 30, 1931, in Wendell, Idaho, died Monday, May 13, 2013, at his home.
Mr. Scott owned and operated Brisbayne Atlantic Richfield Service Stations in California.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Vera, nee Trout, Scott.
Surviving are his wife, JoAnne, nee Long, Scott of Highland, Ill.; two sons, Douglas E. Scott of Sacramento, Calif., and Jake (Janna Vogt) Gatlin of Highland, Ill.; two daughters, Diana I. Scott of Cameron, Calif., and Callie Ann (Jeff) Hanson of Albany, Ore.; six grandchildren, Jessica A. Smith, Natasha A. Scott, Pinky Smith, Miranda R. Scott, Alexandra T. Gatlin and Reno E. Gatlin; and three great-grandchildren, Jack Pepper Smith, Brighton JoAnne Snyder and Brylie Gatlin Stabile.
Memorials may be made to the United Methodist Church in St. Jacob, Ill.
Services will be private.
